Our School Day

Our school day begins at 8:45am and ends at 3.05pm (for children in EYFS and KS1) and 3.15pm (for children in KS2). Parents / Carers who have children in both Key Stages are invited to collect their children at 3.15pm.

All children must arrive on time so that they can make a prompt start to the day. The gates (and registration) open at 8.45am, the gates close at 8.55am and the register officially closes at 9.00am. If your child arrives after this time (but before 9.30am) they will be marked as late. If they arrive after 9.30am they will be marked as an unauthorised absence for that morning session.

Up to and including Year 5, children are expected to be collected after school by an adult (or named person over the age of 16) from their contact list. However if your child is in Year 6 they may walk home on their own providing we have written permission from the parent or carer; this must be sent to office@pluckley-tkat.org or given to Mrs Loader.

In addition to our normal school hours we also offer Wrap-Around Care including Breakfast Club, After School Clubs and After School Care. Breakfast Club runs between 7.45am and 8.45am, After School Clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm and After School Care (which encompasses After School Clubs within it) runs from 3.15pm to 5.30pm.
